i traded a guy my ae 86 for a R32 its got a r34 engine in it its rear drive red in color it was used and the guy got it imported through his brothers nissan dealership it only cost his brother money to get the legal documents filled out buy customs and it was a gift.

You CANNOT plate an R34. There are no "other" ways around the system legally.

Actually there is a way to do it, mainly a lot of hoop jumping and custom modifications. I know of one company that successfully imported a R34 and had it registered in Canada. The process was very difficult and cost alot but if you got $80K burning a hole in your pocket, why not.

r34 can be done and legit here in Canada if you know what your doing, read up on importing, and your pockets are deep. hint? Nissan did sell a R34 bare frame w/o a vin. I'll just leave it at that.

There is a R34 GT-R registered legally aswell in Caledon. It was shipped here in pieces and built here. Its now registered 100% legally as a kit car.

if only i had the wallet.

its a r32 chassis with a r34 body on it, im from vancouver so i've seen him at skyline meets and . also you can get R33's now but not the gtr version.
