2000 Honda HRV. How can we tell if it has a VTEC?

Hi - We have a Honda HRV. How can we tell if it has a VTEC? Engine number starts with D16W... Thanks.

check the engin number on the internet, or put the registration in on a insurence site and the compleat spec will come up. it shud also state in the registration docs

Honda takes pride in their technologies. Vtec will be written somewhere on the engine or cover. If it has it, it will say it.
