For the 2008 Honda Pilot, are the Transmission & Power steering coolers and
really necessary for towing? Will I void the warranty if I don't get them?

it depends on how you tow it it is a fromt wheel driv so all you have to do is pick up on the front and go but if you going to strap a chain on it then yeah
