I am looking into buying a bike rack for my CRV, I wanted to know if anyone has put a rack on the spare tire to transport thier bike? Would be interested in the brand and the pros and cons of it. I wanted to make sure the spare tire could hold the rack and the bike(s). I have a 2006 CRV the EX model. Thank you

The spare tire will hold two bikes fine. Look at a Rhode Gear rack for a decent rack at a good price.
