How can you improve the fuel economy in a honda nsr 125?

Get it professionally tuned and use a good synthetic oil in it.
How many km's are on it and when was the last top end rebuild? Those are factors that can effect economy with a 2smoke. I have a NSR250 and it has terrible fuel economy too.
