How do I enter the radio code for a honda crv? 98 that is.?

How do I enter the radio code for a honda crv? 98 that is.?
I have the code, I just need to be able to enter it because the display says err-3 and won't let me. Thanks!

I have a 2004 and it did the same thing. I had to go to the dealership to have it fixed.
