My 1999 Honda CRV panic button does not work. Why?

My 1999 Honda CRV panic button does not work. Why?

The remote key locks on the fob works, just the panic button is inoperable.

you might want to try holding down the panic button for like 5 seconds or more.

Either the switch isn't working or you have an open circuit in the wiring(loom).































Look around the wiring that operates the circuit and you might be lucky and see where it's been compromised, otherwise it could be long job with a circuit tester checking the switch, plugs, sockets and wiring of the circuit.
