what kind of oil do i use in my 1980 honda cb650?

Non Detergent 40W motor oil. If it was rebuilt recently use detergent oil as the parts are probably designed for it.
Some Hondas needed 30W but if is got alot of hours on it, 40W is the safest bet anyway IMO.
