what year did Honda start offering the Pilot with a 3rd row seat?
anyone know any other crossover/mid-size SUV's with a 3rd row seat and good gas mileage ? family friend is looking for something with room for passengers and good gas mileage

All Honda Pilots have third row seats. In 2004, honda improved the access to the third row seats.
Maximum seating: 8 people
miles per gallon: 17mpg in the city and 22mpg on the highway. on all models 2003-2005
2005 and after , some models improved mpg to 18mpg in the city and 24mpg on the highway
