...in 2nd gear? hello i have a suzuki gz250 and i was wondering if there is any harm in starting off from 2nd gear i tryed it and it worked and i find it easy to do it because if i start in 1st since its only a 250cc my first gear tops out at about 7-9mph and that makes it a little hard to get into moving traffic thank you

yes its ok, first gear is just so you can start quickly, or up a hill. you can start up a hill in second if you know how.
