Wow Tom, that was certainly the biggest No-No when it comes to doing this mod. I'm not sure if our cars are similar when it comes to needle position with the key being turned to the Accessories, (ie. tach, speedo, volts, oil pressure positions) but if they are......I still have my pictures that you could go by.

Now when it comes to the position of your Gas Gauge.....you have no choice but to give it your best guess, or fill your tank and set it about an 1/8 of an inch above the full mark. I'd definitely make sure you never let it go below a 1/4 tank to put gas it again, cuz without knowing exactly where it was, you're SOL.

Here's a quick look at these pictures that I have if you want, but you'll need to ask around (Dealership ect...) and see what they say.

THESE ARE WITH THE CAR COMPLETELY COLD AND IN THE ON POSITION
(Sorry about the third one being blurry, but it still shows where the temp gauge is at cold)

Right on......but I still wouldn't chance letting your gas gauge get too low. I never let my car get lower than a 1/4 tank for two reasons: One, I never have to worry about running out......and two, letting it get too low can cause all the crap in the bottom of the tank to clog up your fuel filters.

Were you able to get all the other needles on in the right place? When you get it finished, make sure you post up some pictures!!
