i just did this in my car and wanted to see what everyone thought, it is an automatic but i had an extra shift boot and and standard console plate laying around. i need a new boot but this is just the trial.

yea i like the boot but i think the shift plate from the 5 speed is what sets it off!
you could do a b&m mega shifter but make sure you get the kit for your car or it won't work with ur comp i had a mega shifter that wouldn't work due to no nuetral saftey switch or gear indication for my comp. as for just a handle i dont think so just because of the button to change gears!

yea just find a 5 speed console plate get a boot for a camaro screw it in and ur all set but make sure you take the ball off or ull have to cut the boot

thats pretty funny lol, the mega shifter i have works just fine, but yea make sure if you get one that you get the right one, the shifter is easy to install and kicks ***, it makes shifting in an auto so much more fun trust me

yea im thinking about that when i upgrade my motor and put a shift kit in, and then ill be all set to bang gears or maybe a manual conversion.

I thought about doing that.. Getting a manual middle section and getting a boot. So that when you look at it, it will look like a manual but then it just shifts because its a auto.. But that takes away the shift lights so I decided against it..

Yea i love that. I did that to my old iroc and my now dead RS too! Everyone always think my cars are stick. I gotta point out i aint got no clutch pedal.
