Windows

Okay i got an odd question but wanted to check some knowledge here. Someone today told me, tried to tell me, that it takes power to hold power windows in the up position on a 2001 Firebird or any car with power windows. To me this just didnt seem right but I kept my mouth shut and figured i would ask. Also are there any lower end power adders that will raise the idle rpms of an LS1 such as cams, or other low cost, basic, power adders. Thanks for the help again.

if it took power to hold them up they would drop if you unhooked your battery. Why do you want to raise the idle rpm? That doesn't mean more power just using more gas (a tune can do it pretty easily)

Thats exactly why i said it just didnt sound right to me. As for raising it i dont but same person made a claim that that was why his supposedly idled high which to me, dont know a whole lot as i havent had the chance to actually get my own muscle car and work on it and learn some things like that, i figured i would ask but it didnt sound right.
