power outage
So all day yesterday, it felt like my car was actin up. When I left work for my lunch break, somthin just seemed different, so I ignored it. Then I was driving home from work, and I know Ive mentioned my electrical issue before where my windows and stereos power will go off, so I cant use either of them until it randomly comes back on... well that kept happening. It hasnt been bad at all since I got my stereo installed. But yesterday on the way home it went on and off like 5 times... annoying. So I get it home, and park it at 730ish.
Later that night, 2 hours later I decided I want to go on a food run. So I go out to my car, turn the key to on, and start to roll down the windows... its slow as aids, and all the lights are dim as hell. Im like wtf, go to crank it and it BARELY starts up.. so now Im like wtf... Im thinkin my battery is just jacked, so I call my dad and talk to him for a bit... he was tellin me might be the starter since this **** didnt happen til I got my alarm installed... I was thinkin maybe its running down my battery or somthing. But Im just driving around cause Im worried that this will be the last time Ill get to drive my car, I just had that feeling. So I drive to wal mart. I get my food and ****, and talk to greg (pentavolvo) and he thinks its the battery too.. So I buy a new battery. Thank god I did, cuase when I get out to my car it just clicks. So I spend 10-15 mins (had no idea theres a bolt to hold down the battery, and its impossible to see in the dark
) but get it in, and its starts up. Drove it back home, and I havent tried to start it yet today, but Im pretty sure that was the problem. Im thinking its probably old, and was on its way out.
But boy was that ****** lame... Im so glad I followed my insticts and have tools in my car. Id be pretty screwed without a car.

well good thing you got it taken car of...my car was doing some of those things..not starting electrical problems that kind of thing and i thought it was my battery but it ended up to be the altinator so if it keeps happing keep that in mind

damn that sucks. good thing u got it all workin now. my car went through 3 batteries b/c i used to never drive it so the battery would drain and i woudl have to charge it every time before i started my car and eventually it just took a ****. not srue why my other one went bad
