Help!, Door Panel Insert Install...

I have no idea in hell to put on the door panel inserts, its killing me because i am not abouts to take off my whole door panel to do it...Thats my last resort. Is there anyways that they snap off or pop off out of place? I know some one has to know. thanks for the help in advanced.

I really don't think there is a way to do it without removing the entire door panel. I did my own and thats how i had to do it.

taking off the door panel is ez. take out like 4 screws and pop it up so you dont break the tabs.

i've done it. did it on my 93 Z and my buddies 00 SS. recovering them is a bit of a job, its easy to do but hard to do it right.

you NEED to remove the door panels. then theres plastic tabs melted around the slots on the back, you need to pry them out with a straightblade screwdriver and it will all come apart. you can break the tabs although they are more durable than you think.

Replacement paneling?

I'm looking at fixing up the interior and have added a few things to my list to buy. But one thing i was unable to locate was the plastic paneling that is strewn throughout the interior. Mine is severely cracking and crumbling due to the sun around the T-tops, and in the back seat along with the plastic around the back window. My question is: Are they available to buy from other places than a junk yard? Thanks!

I have a '93 Z and bought all my interior panels from Yearone.com
If they don't have what your looking for, give them a call.
