My hood will be done on the 14th, but I still need to find a grill insert for the intake opening on the scoop. I know RK Sport sells a chrome or billet one for like $65.00, and I could just paint it black......but I'm just wondering if anyone knows any other place that sells 'em?

I know I waited till the last minute to ask this, but I forgot all about it. I told him to hold off on cutting out the hole until I have one for it, so the hole doesn't end up being too big.

Im not sure... All I knew of was RKSport but that is like 50 or 60 dollars isnt it? Why not go to a dealer or GMParts Direct and see how much they will charge?

Yep,..... that's exactly the place to go. RK Sport wants $65.00 + S&H = $75.00,.....SLP online wants $60.00 + $15.00 S&H = $75.00,.......and GMParts Direct only wants $41.98 + S&H totaling $51.97

That's almost a $25.00 savings. I never even thought about them, so than you very much bro ~

You might want to call around to some salvage yards. They may have what your looking for and it will be a whole lot cheaper.

Yeah,....that would be sweet if a person could find one at a wrecking yard around here. You'd have to get lucky enough to be at the wrecking yard when a Camaro w/a SS hood on it came in. That's a rare opportunity in these parts.

The eBay one would be ok if it weren't missing one of the tabs, but hey....I appreciate you looking around for me.

And to answer your question Derek,.....the answer is "Yes"....absolutely what I was looking for, in fact I already went ahead and ordered it.
