first liked to say im new hear, and im trying to get into this tuner deal. im new to the city, and will be living here for a year or so. i grew up on a farm workin on trucks and muscle cars..but never the tuner . i got a chance to buy a 1995 eagle tsi with a full body kit, T3 turbo, Greddy blow off valve, full exaust(front to bak) and other do dads.
buddy wants 5500 firm.. with only 130,000 klicks...good deal?

But seriously, all cars have problems. The biggest problem with DSMs is how much money some owners spend on the car.

But some of us have very reliable stock DSMs that have not required much maintenance.

Make sure the 100,000 km tune up has been done. (water pump, timing belt, tensioner, etc). Its a $1200 job if you have to do it.

And trust me, you HAVE to do it.

Yes thats a good deal.

Bought mine for $5100, was completely stock but had $10k worth of work done on it like rebuilt engine + turbo + others. Mine was cert + e=passed.
