Fatal Crash On Toronto-Bound QEW
A terrible crash on the Toronto-bound QEW claimed a person's life Friday morning.
The accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer happened around 7am on the eastbound QEW near Erin Mills, causing severe traffic backups that made it difficult for emergency vehicles to reach the scene.
The area has been closed down.
The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was apparently in the car.
There's no word on when the area could reopen.
