I work at a Car Star in North bay and we are rated as one of the best shops in town. Where ever you decde to go i would suggest that if you want custom work done ask if they have any experience doing that kind of work or if tey have some photos of their work. At the very least ask if you can view the shop. Clean, well organized, generally means good work. messy, un organized, quality of work usually suffers.

I have a painting company that i started this past winter. The painter is my dad who has been in the business for over 25 years and is fully certified by
3M, BASF, and PPG. IF you are in the GTA region or even willing to drive a bit, i can give you a great price, one that i am sure you have never heard before. Short of naming good shops that 'paint' well, the paintjob is only as good as the paint that is used.
You may get a cheap price, but that means that you'll probably get sub-par paint.
Spiess-Hecker's line of paint come highly recommended from a detailer's stand-point. Harder than the average paint, and would resist swirls moreso than the average paint.
