The fuse for my dash keeps going out and while its out the speed won't go past 40/km, aswell as it stays in first and second and won't upshift.

Anyone have an idea of what's going on???

I've never had a promblem like this and need to be pointed to the right direction

what car? does your fuse blow right away or when you turn something on.. have you pulled yoru dash out or been messin under the dash with wires lately.. is it a cable speedo.. maybe when you pulled the dash, you piched a wire which is grounding it out to blow the fuse and at the same time you pinched or jamed the speedo cable to make it not go over 40... dunno about the shifting.
