What Oil to use in an 00' R1 and how much?

What Oil to use in an 00' R1 and how much?
i have a 00' R1 for my first bike and am coming up on my first oil change for the bike. i need to know what oil wieght and how much i need. Your favorite Brands of oil wouldnt hurt. i also need a filter but that is easy to find. i have talked to the Yamaha dealer near me but they are the only ones for about 100 mi. and they are extremely over priced. thanks for you time.

this bike in 99% already rides on full synthetic oil, my favorite brand is MOTUL in my R1 from 04 I use 10W40 for winter time and 15W50 for summer. If you have a rear stand try to change oil by yourself, you can find all necessary info on R1forum.take care
