Who remembers Evel Knievel?

In light of his passing yesterday, what is your favorite Evel Knievel memory or story? Mine was on September 8, 1974 when my best friend and I talked our dads into taking us to watch the Snake River Canyon jump attempt on closed-circuit tv.

I wasn't even borned on the years of Evel Knievel. You got to be pretty old to remeber going to watch him.

All i can say is that was one crazy dude. I mean he must have broken every bone in his body at least twice. Like Elvis he sure could put on a show. Where ever he is now i hope he has a motorcycle. R I P Evil.

In my book, he was a great person. He had bigger ***** to do the jumps and that he did more than anyone else that has tried to do after him. He is going to be missed by many people.
