Most vehicles like that are only legal on private ground, obviously with the owner's permission. You might get away with the electric version on the roads but the gas powered one will certainly get you in trouble.

We tell all of our customers that Gopeds are not road legal. This also applies to other brand scooters including electric! Do not be fooled by other other brands/dealers that try to make their scooters look road legal.















We also recommend that before buying a Goped, you should contact your local police to ask on their views.

I own both a Goped brand and an off-brand and used both on streets. I've never been stopped by police even though I've passed them before (mostly drove on sidewalk).































It's probably best to all your local police even though it didn't help me much - one said it was okay, one said it was not allowed.































By the way, I live in Florida.

To be street legal I know it has to have license plates, turn signals, at least one mirror, headlights, brakelights, and maybe a horn. and you may need a special license. I dont think you can take it on the sidewalk though
