Im Thinking very hard about getting a lancer I was just hoping some one that has or has had one can tell me the pros and cons. something that is relyable or will break down on me next week sunday. (if you know what i mean)

Well I have had my lancer ralliart(06 model), gone through 1 engine, 1 clutch, and have 67XXX km's on it!! Mitsu's warranty is Reliable as all hell!! When I blew my engine, they took my keys, handed me a set for the "rental" and had my lancer back in my hands in 2 days!! the clutch was my own stupidity(taught the GF to drive stick on it)... Other then that mine has been VERY reliable, NEVER has left me stranded! Everything works on my car Just like the day I bought it(other then my stereo cause I cannot stand stock radio's).. So from my perspective, Very Reliable, and just fun all around!

My buddys wife has a lancer ralliart and she hasnt had one problem yet. Reliable car and decently quick. My buddy(her fiance) has the new EVO 10.

good to know i heard that 03's and earlyer had paint problems clutch problems (lots and lots of ppl have complained about it) i didnt hear n e thing about the 04's and 5's so i was hoping i could get as much information as possible! keep your thoughts and stories

What model are you looking at getting? I love my RA but the ES and OZ definitely have alot more aftermarket support....

everything works like it did the first day I drove it home over a year ago....well whats left for OEM anyway...lol

Ralli: Thats because the ES/LS/OZ need the support LOL, we don't have the 161WHP under the hood stock.

I love my 06 OZ to death, I bought it new in May 06 and have not had a single problem with it yet. I agree with Klown, there is a reason Mitsu says they have the best Backed cars in the world, and that is because they mean it.

The Warrantee should be transferable, Mitsu is usually pretty good about that too. I am looking to pick up another 03-06 Lancer Either OZ/Ralli as my current car is running on its last legs. (the Mitsu is actually my wifes main Car)

They are great cars, very reliable, and MIVEC is very consistant.... well on the engines that it is available on. I've got an 04 Ralliart right now... and I have access to a lot and not all mitsu's either, but I work out of Dixie Mitsubishi. Drop me a line if there is anything I can help you with.
