Question Painting Inside

I have a 94 White t-top camaro with top half black, I have tailshades on back and painted the decal "CAMARO" thats on the trunk black. So now im planning on painting the inside all black, except for the speaker grills which will be white. but around the vents and trims i plan on painting White? or maybe white with black speckles...Any suggestions?

That sounds like a good idea to me. Some people don't like it when they hear about someone else painting an interior, if you post the same question on larger boards like cz28 or ls1tech you'll get flamed, but just remember it's your car do what you want and like -- just try to keep it tasteful. High contrasting colors, white and black, or black and red in my case, also isn't the most adored concept, but I personally think white and black would look good. Just make sure you prep the panel prior to painting so that the paint adheres correctly, and make sure whatever you do -- give it PLENTY of time to dry. When it feels dry to the touch, give it an additional few hours at the very least, if not overnight, to dry. Nothing sucks more than installing a panel that has the top layer perfectly dry, bumping the panel on something, and the bottom layers being wet breaking the nice paint job.

black & white scheme sounds good, around the grilles, vents, etc. would look very nice white. Like Meiss, said make sure you take your time, prep the area right(fine sanding and a primer), use lots of light coats of color instead of a few heavy ones, and a clear coat is also good. Upper dash make satin, no clear. Reduce glare, like Arch said. Unless you don't care about the glare. lol

Thumbs up

Yea well about the glare, i was gonna buy a dashmat from RKSport to fix the glare problem i ALREADY have... And as for sound system wise (not related to subject really) I have four 10's, two 10's in a Qlogic Bandpass box, and the other two in a comp box. I basically have no back seat....I deffinitly need new carpet. Should I prehaps remove the backseat and get a custom shop to build me some kind of huge box to fit in the back?
My Modifications that I have done so far to this car since i bought it almost a year and a half ago are:

New radiator
K & N Filter
New Fuel Lines
New fuel Pump
Better Transmission (out of 95 cam)
5% window tint all around, 35% in front (illigel, but who gives a §hit)
Blackedout tail shades.
Been through two fVckin starters, now i need a silinoid for my starter right now.
Pioneer 4 way speakers all around, front and back, Pioneer cd player, 4 10's in two diff good boxes. two of them are JVL's the othe two 10's are Cadence,
Custom HELLRAISER Decal on front windshield in white cool font.

So mainly right now i plan on working on the inside alittle at a time while at the same time lookin into getting a brand new motor, same kind...3.4v6 and adding some power to it along with better exhaust...(goin for the borla)
And suggestions about my plans?

I don't know any shops in that area well (I worked for a distributor in Atlanta and for a store in Gainesville)
