What?

I am watching American Muscle Car, and they just said a '68 Mopar 340 kills a '68 chevelle 396. I am thinking BS, i want to prove these people wrong and all i need are the two cars with that engine..
1970 was the first 350 ever made.. Um, really? i thought some of those first gen camaros had 350's..

Huh, well i guess i learned something today..

'68 or '69 was first year for 350, the 340 mopar may kill the chevelle with a 396 depends on what mopar body, and what 396 (the 396 was available with a 2 barrel carb )american muscle car has gotten very little right the last few times I watched I saw stuff on buicks that I had proof was wrong sitting at a friends house (his dad retired from buick and collected buick items)

message boards, and books by fans mostly it seems, very few have real experts (they did one on the buick GS and the guy who knows tehm better than everyone was surprised when he saw it on tv)
