It is not an open invite ,i am sorry you felt that but you should contact the person organizing it before you invite anyone you want.
As part of this club you were invited , but to go and post it anywhere you want is like bringing people to someones house because they invited you . Not the nicest of things to do as i am sure you would not be impressed if you ask a friend to come over and a fight breaks out because they get out of hand since they don't know you or care what happens.

This is a meet for the older and mature crowd . It is not for revving engines, doing burnouts pumping bass or anything else that includes childish behavior that is associated with clubs with a younger crowd.

This a luxury and sport clubs meet how does this fall into anything else ,why do you feel you have the right to invite anyone you want with out any thought of asking. That is the kind of attitude or lack of respect of things that i did not want at this meet. As many car owners such as myself are tired of being part of. It is about relaxing and socializing with a common interest. I own a civic but does not mean i want to go to a civic club meet as i have nothing in common with the members associated with them.

I have nothing against other clubs or the cars , I have nothing as a common interest with them.
Does this make any sense to you?

Would you go an post a Porsche club of America meet on a cavalier club

BTW my sig had Lexus owners meet so in no way did it propose an open invite meet, sorry you felt that way.

Totally agree with this guy. I am many years member on this boardand have nothing against meets by the interest. This ÈinterestÈ happens to be a luxury.

I am perfectly fine with our old spot: Timmies at south of Islington and Bloor, and I really like the idea of *thunder* runs, as another member proposed (we go every hour from meet to another meet spot and gather more people)

You ask us to respect you and your meet but then you show non to us how dose that work?
Show some respect to other people next time and you might get some back.

You could have easily just said sorry guys but its only for your selective group and it wasn’t so post to be public but instead you made your group sound like its better then everyone else...you dont have to be rude to get a point across...

I am not trying to be nasty ,i am sorry it came over that way . I wish this thread would just go away.

I have a sunfire, a civic and 2 Lexus' ,I am not trying to compete. I wish people would stop reading into this . If it makes you feel better it is a viagra meet ,does that make sense? It is for older clubs and its owners.
Your welcome to come by but the theme is just a bunch of older guys getting together .
We are a different demographic of owners by age and liquid assets to be available to afford certain cars.

Now stop feeling like the last kid to get picked for the baseball team . You can still come out and play but while you go to the titty bar we head to the chiropractor.

We like being different which comes with good and bad and accept that it is not about being special .

SKperformance, when you say "luxury" car meet what does that mean? What is the 'cut off' for the cars?
