Dare i say Spring meet?
 

ive been itching to meet up with some people, do some burnouts, maybe meet at like GLD when it opens, im just hoping that starting this in advance will make the best outcome, even tho last year kinda killed that. just say some ideas you guys have, maybe dates, im not sure when GLD opens but anything could be an idea

I'll definitly be here for some meets. This time I'll have a nice cowl induction hood on my Z as well.
I'll bring the digital SLR camara and the digital camcorder.
As for GLD personally I think we should wait until it's been open a little while. When it first opens it's going to be really busy and we won't get as many runs in.

yeah 1st weekend is free, ud be lucky to get 1 run lol, i think a day like me, 69z-28, and dna383 went last year it was like race, drive back, race as many times as you wanted, that was the last day we had school(end of may?) so a meet b4 that should be a must :lolsign:

First off we need a Place... prolly something down in kenisha so flatlanders can come :) ... then a Vote on a Date.....

I love Bong, it's large and there are big parking lot's that are never used. I can see if we can reserve a section so we don't have to worry about anyone else taking it.

Once we get it figtured out we should make posts on all the FBody/YBody boards to try to meet more people. Unless you guys would rather it be just us which is fine as well as making it easier for a cookout.

and to be honest. I dont want to think of spring because it just makes me miss my car more.

a bbq is a great idea i think it would be cool to invite alot of poeple but it wont mix very well becuase i dont think some one here wants to plan a big bbq

why wouldnt some one here want to plan a big bbq....

Most parks have grills at them. I know Pet's(crazy C4 driver) has them built in and I'm 99% sure Bong does too.

ill go to bong cuz i actually know how to get there... lol im sure i could find the other place tho, we could do a BBQ that we tell everyone to plan for themselves and we couild just have a a PC BBQ before hand, like say the PC BBQ starts at 12 and other meet starts at 1 or so... just an idea

That's not a bad idea either.

The only downside to Bong is that it's a state park so you have to pay to get in. I don't remember how much but it isn't bad.

If we do this let's do it right. I'll reserve a section ahead of time so we won't have to worry about anyone else taking it.
As for food we'll need to find a way for everyone to chip in. Either everyone bring a certian part (i.e drinks, ice, buns, etc...), everyone chip in and one person buys it, or we just bring our own food.

chip in is a good idea i think... we take a count of how many poeple are there b4 hand and then one person buys and then will split up the cost when we get there i think that will be the easiest

everyone bring something is the best way.... have a list of whose bringing what.........

yeah definitely do where everyone buys something (or bring your own and have desinated cooks)

you dont want to have one person buy it all and then get paid there because theres always gonna be the ones who say oh i dont have money etc. or if you do a list theres always the people who forget to bring their item...then you're eating buns with no burgers.

hopefully this isnt group like that, but ive run into it with every cookout party event ive ever been to.

I will be up for a meet when warmer weather gets here. However i wont be drag racing my car anymore. I will also have some new rims and tires too by that time.

i just got back from Florida, W00T, so idk what was said prior to this page but yay for spring meet, and BTW any weekend is good for me but i gotta know a week ahead of time so i can take off work.

weekends are good for me also....

I live in an apt, if I was rich I'd buy a house.

I work random day's out of the week so there's nothing that works better than any other day so you guys choose the day and I'll make sure I get it off.

BTW, anyone down for the day before the MFBA spring cruise washing and waxing our cars? They haven't posted the dates yet but when they do I'm going to take the Friday before and the Saturday(day of the cruise) as vacation days.

where is the cruise and all that? that would be cool, have a get together and sleep in the park then go to the cruise.lol
