If coming on the scouting run, you can enail me at ronwschaefer@yahoo.com and include "scouting run" in the title and your cellphone number in the message.
Black Ice - do you have a cell phone? can you post the number? the leaders can help coordinate with you to join up with them on one of the convoys. You could also meet at a convoy spot in Janesville, or one south of you at one of the Chicago area meet-up spots.

I might do the scouting run with you Ron. Of course it depends on the weather, looks to be chances of rain all week. I don't work Fridays currently so we'll see how bored I feel. Plus my tires are getting pretty bad so I'm not sure how much you wanna push it through the scout run?

I plan to drive rain or shine, as long as it's not blizzard. If you want to email me your cell # or post it here, I can call. I plan to leave Motel 6 just before 8, in time to arrive at Damon's around 8. (unless I try to get in some early scouting west of J-ville.)
You have more pick-up than me anyhow, and will have no problem keeping up. I usually drive the speed limit on this type of run, which also helps me estimate timing and schedule better.

Black Ice, with your cell number we'll ba able to guide you in from where I-43 merges with I-90. If you can plan to be there about 7am on the 21st, we can call you and coordinate the merge time. That is 60 miles from the Hales Corner interchange, and the last 10-15 miles is 55mph zone during some constructioin. If Chadwick is with you, I think he has done the same thing last year.
Holy cow, this is a popular thread.
