Ya, I know it wasn't true Darknights in its orginal form, but it was still sick none the less. It wasn't necessarily better than the rest of Performance World, cause thats like comparing apples and oranges. They were very different from each other, it just depends what you're into. For us tuner guys, ya Darknights was better. And ya I gotta say, Performance World didnt really have much in the way of atmosphere when compared to Darknights

yeah that's what I meant I wasn't comparing the cars because I have to admit the domestic cars were really nice there but the problem was there was no music and nothing going on and it just seemed really dull and quiet over there.

The girl on stage was super annoying when I was there on the Sunday. I hope the Ifest doesn't have the same type of annoying talk through the nose type of chick.

The only problem with Performance World is that their staff make it real hard to roll in, its very disorganized, and some of the Performance world staff is way too rude. Its like they are doing us a favour to bring in the imports and make their show a bit brighther. No problem next year we just wont show up if you treat us like "EM TUNERS" so hands down.

Yeah the Downsview one is going to be outside. So pray for no rain!

To comment on Performance World this year...my car was there and I was actually pretty disappointed with their awards. As far as I knew, Darknights used to be notorious for handing out the most awards.
Their categories were horrible...VW and Audi didn't even get their own...it was just Euro and there was only first place, nothing else.
If it's the same way next year, I probably won't go back.

Not too bad this Year, a lot of amazingly incredible rides, but also a lot of rides that had me saying WTF? There were nicer rides out in the parking lot, like the 05 Eclipse that parked right beside me LOL.

And for being Import Fest I was a little peeved at the number of Cavy's sitting around, Yea we all know they are the domestic Civic, but this is Import fest people.

The Girls were nice, but some were rather on the annoying side. When I am trying to get a good shot of a ride, and I haven't asked for you to be in the picture, I don't need you trying to make out with the car while I am trying to photograph it. LOL

All in all, Great weather, Nice Rides, Great Scenery

I agree. Most of those cars had rims and nothing else!
My car was there (in the second set of pics on this forum - silver S4 with Sweetie Girl Racing). I'm not saying my car is totally done up, but try buying crap for that car! LOL

How about the million civic classes?? That irritates me to no end. There were COUNTLESS VW's there and I didn't see them separating them to give everyone a fair shot. That crap has got to stop! Or how about doing the 50 civic awards at the end! lol

There was a Civic there that was stock except for he had spent way way too much money on Pearlescent Rims for it. I could have entered my OZ if that was all that was needed LOL. I have done the Rims and I have a Vinyl on the Brake cover (see my Avatar) so I could have won something there LOL.

It was nice though to see the Skyline Guys out, as it isn't too often a lot of people get up close and personal with an R34 RHD.
