Mississauga meet
 

I propose early in May we set somen up. I'm tired of just seeing mommy's old civic with a tip and some gay decals at the local timmys. I want a proper Mississauga show and I want to plan it early. My 00 ITR will be the first one there. LMK where and when guys, and perhaps a tour around that day too???

It's the same for any meet.. all kinds of cars will show up... rice, junk, nice cars, all show, all go... totally done... there's no way u can pick and choose unless you make it a private meet that u can restrict access to by making people pay...

but then, for a weekly meet no one will show to yours thats for sure. :hah:

Not weekly, just a "bringin your summer car out", one day event. I just find not much is planned in Sauga....anyways...like I said post when, where and your car model. This is just something for a saturday....

it takes more than LETs have a meet... find a place and see if anyone shows up... plus you'll never like VR said get the cars that your want there... you will get eveything

the parking lot where the winners is LOL the new one beside shoppers and stuff on Burnhamthorpe Rd & grand park dr there is tons of space for tons of cars on a saturday after the stores close (6pm) around there :) MUAHAHA i dont know what im sayin im crazy lol :la:

I wasn't able to make it out to any events in 2004, but I'd like to check out what everyone's ridin'.

Why you giving him a hard time for trying to get some cars together? Id be in. It would be nice to do something other than smoke butts and stand around though. Have a cruise or have the meet at a go-kart track or something.

from what i can tell (even though i've never been to a meet) there's no such thing as "we" when it comes to organizing a meet, if you want to see something happen in sauga, than YOU will have to do something about it ... start organizing :)

just wanted to make sure there is interest first...this won't be anything complicated, justa straight up park and show for a few hours. I just want to see what everyone's rideing in, talk some smack, take a look at a few of bitches and call it a day. I realise there will be some ass cars there......anyways let's try to promote this thing people not knock it :thumbsup

i don't mind an idea like this, since my car's completely stock, but be ready for HEAVY police harrassment/prescence since i'm sure they monitor this board, either that or when they see a large group of cars in a strip mall parking lot, they'll definately stop and start finding ways to ticket your car

I hear that man. Why the hell are you planning for May anyway? Most of the original meets are all ready full of ppl and chances are people wont give 2 shits about your meet. So you're better off hosting a season opener in like march or april when it gets warm and dry enough to race. At that point people are just aching to race after this bullshit winter this year so you'll get a better turnout!

April would be your best time to host an opening meet so everyone can meet and cruise. That is my 5 cents.

I don't know who has been here long enough to remember some of the nice KK meets we had, but yes, its possible, and a lot of people still meeting up in Sauga, like 403 & Dundas, but I guess more mature people with nicer cars stop showing up because of all the wiggas/ginos running around.

the kk meets were 90% rice... I went only like twice even though it was right down the street... the DSM meets are there at the mickey d's lot too
403 & dundas is all newbie riders on 600cc bikes and ricers with the odd fast car
