Just wanted to say hello,
I recognize some members from othersites i travel to.
Im from Slinger WI, i have a 2001 SS Camaro 6 speed that i bought brand new in june of 01' its pretty much evoloved into a street driven drag car.
It inhales healthy doses of nitrous and methanol from time to time. Currently in the middle of a big inch engine instalment.
And a 2004 Colorado Z71 4x4 with intake and exhaust anda Yank SS3500 converter. first aftermarket converter ina colorado in the country.

I havent got a chance to run it this year, I refreshed the stock motor over the winter with rod bolts, rings, put stock heads back on it ( had patriots, but sucked) with new springs etc... and the same .595/.595-237/242 112 LSA cam, Got the NOS 5177 kit hooked up and ran it with a 75 and 100 shot for 4 bottles, then upped the ante to a 200 shot and employed the use of a Snow Performance BoostCooler NA methanol injection kit to allow the addition of max timing and NA air fuel ration w/o any knock or burning it down from running lean because meth burns so cool. I ran one bottle through it in a day on the 200 shot, dialing in the meth and rasing the timing and leaning it out, all of which dramatically helps the nitrous give max gains, well it ended up breaking a chunk of the stock piston off ( NOT BURNED) and sent it for a ride which cracked the cylinder liner in 2 spots, and cracked the block. So now im trying to get some cash for an LQ4 based stroker, probably that SLP ZL402 motor... but ill be giving up 40 hp or so with using the stock heads on it. I dont have the money for heads right now, and im convinced they dont do much anyway over a stock LS1 "241" casting. The nitrous its self did not cause the failure or my tune up... it just started making a little much for the stock internals to handle.
But last year on motor was a 11.47@ 120.35 with a 1.601 60ft and 7.393 1/8 @ 94.4 at byron race way in oct of 04'
Its built like a brick ***** house though, spec Stg4 I clutch with ceramic pucks, steel flywheel. PST carbo fiber D/S, Moser 12 bolt w/ 4.56 cogs, 31 spliner axles and a spool. I have Hal stocker R shocks at all 4 corners, BMR K member, Sphon torque arm. Wolfe 6 point bolt in cage.
But once the new motor is in it that can take some abuse, it will see more than a 200 shot, technically it saw more already, that meth injection adds 20-25% on top of the spray, because you can get the things back you had to take away to make it so it was safe w/o the meth. I upgraded the two solenoids to one single Super Pro Shot that flows 400 hp, so i may see a 300 shot to "try" to get a 9 sec pass out of this nearly full weight 6 speed car.
