I remember talking to some paralegals at a paralegal company. It was x-copper and we were talking about cops nowadays and how hillarious they think this stuff is. They said that most cops have no clue what they're talking about.. And I asked them why cops bother writing up a ticket for a loud exhaust ,racing seats or even car to low... They said it's the easiest tickets to give besides possession of marijuana tickets. And to finish it off one of them told me that cops are ment to serve and protect.. Not to be your mechanic and tell you your brand new stainless steel borla is improper. One guy just kept repeating cops arn't mechanics fight everything.

I got pulled over by cops doing a radar trap because my front license plate wasn't on (the bracket broke). The cop proceeded to tell me that my exhaust, which I've had for at least 4 years, been through about 3 emissions tests with, and pulled over twice with, was WAY too loud. I told him that this was news to me as the previous cops that pulled me over, the MTO roadside stop I was stopped at (on the way to cayuga, like in the pics), and the certified emission test technicians never had a problem with it. He didn't like that, and then asked me to open my hood. So I did. Then he asked if anything here had been changed. I literally stared at him for 5 seconds to see if he was serious. Sure enough he was... so I told him that I had changed a few things. He couldn't do anything about the engine because he was an idiot, so he just wrote me a ticket for having no plate.
