Everyone can enter, ANYONE can win!

Armdrop LIVE! is the new live race event created by Rich Christensen.
You might be familiar with his track record.
He just created a couple little shows like
PINKS, PINKS ALL OUT, PASTIME and DRAG RACE HIGH…

We learned a lot from our first event in Immokalee Regional Raceway and MANY changes have been made!

NEW RULES - RELEASED MAY 26, 2008 FROM ARMDROP RACING ASSOCIATION

All vehicles must pass tracks sanctioning body rules (NHRA or IHRA)

All racers must have all the proper safety equipment including apparel designated by your tracks sanctioning body .Remember safety first!

All host track facility rules apply and will be enforced by track employees during the event

Vehicles allowed to race side by side are determined by track rules

ArmDrop Racing – Floating Dial Drags (F.D.D.)

All vehicles will get a minimum of one qualifying time that will determine their place on the ladder.

Racers must qualify at an ET they plan on using during the event, any major increases in ET or MPH will be grounds for disqualification.

When final qualifying passes are complete there will be a range of ET evaluated, if need be split classes will be created with a fast class (class 1) and a slow class (class 2). The two classes will run separate ladders throughout the competition until the two classes mesh together in round 5 or 6 or whenever the field is determined close enough.

Floating Dial – during the event there will be a separate digital dial in board mounted either on top of the starting tree or in front of Rich’s ArmDrop stand. Both locations are completely visible by both racers .This will be one location that will post your target ET the other being the board at the end of the track, depending on tracks electronics allows. The floating Dial will always be determined by the slower vehicles qualifying time. The Dial in ET will be displayed after both vehicles have completely staged. The target ET displayed on the digital board will be no more than 1 second slower than the pairs slower vehicles qualifying ET. The first to finish without going faster than the floating dial chosen for your pair, moves on to the next round. Example: car one qualified 9.57 and car two qualified 9.71 , the floating dial would be from 9.71-10.71 ET

Racers will be split up into 4- 8 lanes by ET, this will be the racers designated lane throughout the competition until the two classes mesh (this will insure close ET races). When winning round racers are called back to lanes, proceed to your designated lane! Racers are responsible for knowing there designated lane , if a racer runs in the wrong lane or doesn’t get to the lanes in time they will be disqualified –“LISTEN TO ALL ANOUNCMENTS” you may be called by car number or name on tech card .

During the event all racers must launch on Rich’s arms, there will be no sitting on the staging line ,if your vehicle doesn’t move immediately it will be determined to be broke and you will be disqualified from the competition

Racers that have been determined to jump or leave to early off Rich’s arms will have one chance to protest by video recording only! The proof must be clear and completely visible. Also understand even if you don’t see the lights on the tree, the electronics are on .If you roll the beams after you have staged you will get a red light loss, no exceptions. Any discrepancies will be determined by track and ArmDrop staff. All protest must be within 15 minutes of the racers last pass or before next round of eliminations whichever comes first. If determined a win the racer must show the other competitor the video if they ask for proof .The determined winner moves on to the next round of eliminations. Please act like adults, no profanity or fighting will be allowed, if any type of these actions take place both racers will be ejected from the track and eliminated from the competition –NO EXCEPTIONS

All vehicle numbers must be clearly written on vehicle and able to be seen by track and ArmDrop employees from the tower. If these are not readable and you pull on to track surface you will be disqualified from the race.

Race field will be determined by car count, if we don’t have 256 vehicles, we will take the top 128 qualified or whatever even number allows us to have a correct ladder.

Payout will be determined by car count of the determined bracket field with up to 10k for the winner!

ArmDrop Racing Association –Heads up Hot Lap (H.H.L.) rules

All H.H.L. races will determined by track and ArmDrop staff and will be two vehicles heads up in a two out of three hot lap challenge .winner take all

Hot lap defined –Racers must proceed back to staging lanes immediately without stopping at their pit area and driver must stay in vehicle or on bike. The vehicles once back in staging must pull up into burn out box and follow the track official’s instructions. If vehicles need to be fueled the vehicle must be turned off and pit crew people only can add fuel. This must be done in a safe manner no exceptions. If determined any actions taken by the drivers pit crew is unsafe the will be disqualified from the competition. Any extended length of time for vehicle to get back to the line will grounds for a round loss. Any time needed for fuel ups or any other time delays must be discussed and agreed upon prior to race.

Listen for your car number or name on tech card, you may be chosen for anyone of the H.H.L. races during the day. The Armdrop Crew and track personal will try to find you and give you some prep time before your race. If we cannot find you it is your responsibility to be ready if you would like to participate in the mini race. If you choose not to race or cannot compete due to breakage please let a staff personal know. All racers must report to tower.

If you have lost a round in a H.H.L. due to a false start or jumping of Rich’s arms you can protest .In the H.H.L. class your crew members must protest immediately after pass .Read rules in the bracket section for more details on protesting. Remember the electronics are on even if you don’t see the lights on the tree so if you roll the lights after you stage you will get a red light loss. No exceptions once you stage don’t move until you see Rich’s arms drop!!

All payouts can be cash, prize or gift certificate provided by individual mini race sponsors .ArmDrop Racing Association LLC. will not be held liable for prize redemption between the winner and the mini race sponsor. The prize or certificate will be awarded before the racer leaves the track. If the racer leaves the premises without receiving their prize they, lose their rite to the winnings. No exceptions.

Final rule being: Rich and the ArmDrop staff can change rules at any time to make a more fair and exciting race!
