SLC Coverage of NOPI Erie PA
Street Legal Cruisers went down to NOPI in Erie, PA over the weekend for the NOPI Drift series and Car Show. Coverage of the show, Bikini contest and Drifting are on the SLC Board.

Just found out that guests can't see the shots... so here they are
We were almost rained out by what was reported as a massive thunderstorm with 50 km/h winds. This is what we saw approaching us saturday afternoon around 1630...
Rick saw what we all though to be the impending doom of the show and we snapped this "WTF" pic.
Ironically, the car show gods smiled up Lake Erie speedway and 'lo the storm passed us by... but close enough that I was able to climb to in the stands and get this panoramic shot of it rolling over Erie, PA (the clouds in this shot are less than 5km away).
With the storm gone, the clouds opened up and the drifting began again. My camera had the annoying tendency to focus on the fence instead of the cars so I only got about half of the shots I wanted.
Car show shots.... Not all of the cars, just the majority.
Hanging around waiting for the awards ceremony to start.
Vicki's Wilwood calipers... but if you look at if from the right angle... "POO"
This douchbag though that he didn't have to stand by the stage like the rest of us, or bring a chair down... Instead, he drove his car into the crowd to try and park it drive-in style. You can just see the back of the NOPI exec as he leans in and yells "What in hell do you think you are doin'?"
