I wasnt there but I read it on ls1tech that the dude was doin a burnout and the cop came up and ripped him out of his car. Yea the cop was a lil overboard but when there are people standing around during the burnout I could see the danger in it and the cop had every right to do it since he was driving wreckless.

First off whoever made that video really needs to learn how to hold the camera steady.
Secondly I can't say I blame the cops, if someone get's hurt they are the ones that'll get in trouble. Then when he does show up he's in the middle of a large crowd of people booing and yelling at him.

from my understanding(i wasnt there when it happened) the cop was an *** and started taking everything personally, and they were writing tickets for everything to anyone in the area. the cop took it too far IMO by just pulling the guy outa the car and cuffing him. a simple warning and quick talk with the crowd would have solved a lot and made the crowd not get so upset/rowdy. i heard there were cars making 3-4 passes and the guy who got busted went up for the first time and got nailed. that's kinda ******. if i was the police officer, i would have broken it up, spoke with the guy that i caught in the act, issued a warning and informed the owner or someone in charge what would happen if they were caught again.

They are just looking out for the publics saftey with people out rippin it up on a public street with spectators all around something is bound to happen sooner or later. Who cares is the crowd got upset if they were openly breaking the law then they had it coming. I dont blame the cop at all I would have done the same thing in his shoes, its a liability to the agency and the city he works for if they would have just let everyone go and allow the event to continue and get worse.
