weres the new meets to show off our cars summer is almost here and we all need a place to chill

The Cineplex plaza south of Hurontario and Derry is ALWAYS empty after 9pm. It's a well lite area with access to hwy 407, 401 and 403.

He didn't say anything illegal. If cops want to come by a group of people with cars then thats their right. Now if anybody there has anything illegal on their ride and dumb enough to get caught with it then that is their problem.

I love modified rides, but I'm a firm believer in modifying your ride in legal ways!

in scarborough, 401 and kennedy commons on wednesday nights (damn, i forgot now, but i'm pretty sure its wednesdays)

nothin goes on there.. other then a bunch of turds tryin to be cool in the parkin lot.. and hang out

i sometimes hang with some 240sx guys at derry and 10th. timmies of course.

in the summer, i remember this guy in a t-rex (that 3-wheel thing) with quebec plates pulled it. prolly the only really cool thing that happened :dunno:

Well, id like to see some of the GTcars meets being west mississauga 403 and dundas timmies or CTC parking lot. Good place to grab some grub there too at the outback :thumbsup:

Maybe mid mississauga, mavis (heartland area?)

I'd like to come out to a meet, but I've heard 403 and dundas is heat and its a bit of a drive from hamilton...anything ever happen in burlington area?

I agree, a cruise is DEFINITLY a necessity, even if a bunch of people still have their winter drivers!!! Its just so much fun to take over streets!! :D

Buuuurlington, i wanna get ppl 2 meet up @ the autospa after hours.. if not then theres the mapleview mall carshow every wednesday.

I don't know if that show is happening this year, I was there almost every week. Where is the autospa? I would be in for sure if something was happening in burlington

Last time i did that, 15+ mustangs and a whole division of police made chase. Please refer to the thred "have you ever ran from the cops".

But that was years ago. A cruise would be a must, maybe to another meet location :thumbsup:

the autospa is on appleby and mainway, north of the QEW on appleby, i think the maple show will go down again this year, but its all old folks there:veryhappy

haha true, I heard because of all the burnouts and how it got pretty out of hand, not so much last year but the years before that it wasn't happening this year.

These meets are starting to sound a lot like the thunder runs I've been putting on for years now.

Thunder Runs are cruises between different "pick up" points around different areas. At the last pick up point we hang out for a bit, then go for a 45+ min cruise, sometimes to a different cruise in meet, sometimes we go racing (like at a track perhaps), sometimes we hit a restaurantfor food, drinks, watch car vids, sometimes we meet atsomeoneelses cruise in, etc... (basically itsallways differnent).

And with the nice weather here Im planning out some for the immediate future, starting maybe April

I'm up for a meet in the GTA or Downtown, Hamilton is a lil far, but if we were to be doing a cruise I would be in for sure, (even though I haven't swapped the H22a into my 91 accord yet...curse those trans problems!). BTW anyone near warden and hwy 7 here?

try bayview and 16th timmies once it warms up a lil more. thas where ill be.

Warden and Eglinton... I think we need to start up some wed meets. For thoes of us on here long enough to remember thoes.

I definitly would love to see some weekly/monthly GTcars meets start up!! With the number of people on the forums and such it should be easy to pack parking lots on a regular basis.

I'm from Hamilton and don't mind driving to Mississauga for meets, but if they are farther East then it gets harder for me to come out.

Weekly or monthly, either would be sweet! I can get out as far as missisauga easily but anything further than that could be a problem. This is definately something we should do! The only question is....whens the next meet!

i like the gtcars.ca thing, im definitly willing to go out of my way to missisauga, but anything else is a bit far, as im from hamilton,
so if i'm willing to go into missisauga,
why not have some in the hamilton/burlington area?
you know maybe once or twice...so we from hamilton dont have to go as far.

and i know this is GT GTA (greater toronto area) but aint burlington/hamilton kinda like a suburb of toronto anyway?
maybe the problem is, that people from the gta, dont really know the area of burlington/hamilton.
but im willing to get to know the other areas caus its for a great cause.:thumbsup:
