As the title says . . . I'm from Winnipeg. I'm working here for the summer then heading back for one more year of university, so I thought I'd see if there was some car meets I could join in on.

I don't know if anyone here is from Winnipeg as well, but we have this big thing called Sunday Night Cruise, which I've always been a part of. This is the first summer since I was 16 that I'll be missing it *sniff* so I need something car related to fill the void.

Anyways, I've been cruising this board for a while but haven't posted anything. I have an exam on May 18th and won't be doing much before that, but afterwards I'll be out taking a look around.

I'll hang with domestics and imports, but I'm more about go than show. Just too bad I sold my Z28 last year. My dad borrowed me his 3.2 TL for the summer though, so in a way that makes up for it.

So if anyone from downtown Toronto (where I am) or the surrounding area wants an extra person to meet up with I'm up for it . . . just after May 18.

There's meet in the west and east end of toronto on wednesdays ( not much of a cruise though )

welcome to toronto!...there nothing like cruise nite here, I have been to one of those down portage....its pretty cool. Toronto is to big a city for stuff like that. Down here like in the post above, there are just meets (just meet up in a parking lots) and shoot the ****. there might be a pre meet meet and crusie down to the big meet. but thats bout it......just join a few other board meetsome new peeps.....havea good time in toronto!

There is meets in woodbridge, etobicoke and Mississauga. As for cruising, some nights there is. Some night theres street racing, but usually the one gaurentee is chilling in the parking lot, and if thats the case, Mississauga west end (403 and dundas) is the best spot. :thumbsup:

Yeah I figured as much, there isn't a main drag to cruise down here like there is in Winnipeg, but usually we cruise for a bit then park somewhere and just chat anyways. We used to have a massive 'car show' every sunday at Canadian Tire but due to the usual heroes doing burnouts and leaving garbarge they hired security guards and shut down the lot. The Partsource lot is smaller but they're more car friendly.

Oh yeah, what other local message boards are there? So far I've found the Greater Toronto Area Mustang Club and the Toronto Subaru Club.


I'm downtown Toronto, after May 18 we should get something going around our areas.
