Hey all! It's my first post on this board, dont know if there is a Canadian Subaru board but this one came up first in google.

So i finally i decided to get rid of my Camry and get something more fun to drive.
Personally i like 2004 - 05 WRX styling, if i had to get another style i would better get a different car.

Here is a few questions that came up.

What is the reasonable price you would pay for a 04 - 05 wrx with not more than 100k on it? Autotrader doesnt have much of a choice, so i cant judge on an average price. I was planing to get one from auction anyway.

What is gas consumption? I guess equivalent to a 3L V6 engine?

They are fun cars but you have to know what you are getting into especially a used one with high km's. They do suck a lot of premium fuel and used ones have usually been driven pretty hard. Check out the link below and you should be able to find all the info you need to make an informed purchase.

i own a 2002 wrx with over 100K on it and the only problem i've had is a busted wheel bearing.... serviced under warranty.

dont believe people that say the trannies are weak...they jsut cant drive. put some good fluids in the car when you buy it and you'll be happy for a very long time.
