First off... you can out run the cops.. :) We were fortunate and the circumstances extreme, many people did get nailed and a few got away (thankfully me). That said, it was the smartest dumb thing I had ever done. However, because it went well I am glad I took off. Heaven forbid something would have happened or I killed someone, I am sure my outlook would be different.

With regards to your ticket. I think invest in some representation. I have used them in the past and will say they the company I used while well known, did suck. They really did nothing for me with the exception of show up.

That said, you need your license for school. I truly believe you will be able to plea down, but kiss away the impound fees and hopefully your insurance wont go up.

Next time, don't get caught :)

Grandpa here! Grandpa can add 80 and 50 and get 130. Grandpa knows that over 130 you can have your licence taken, car taken, big fines, yada, yada. Grandpa doesn't do 50 over.

That said, I drove thru Montreal one time at 103 MPH in a 68 Roadrunner. And we used to do over 100 MPH all the time on back roads in PEI.

Technology sucks......................... p.s. Get a lawyer. You can get a free half hour consult at the very least.
