I got 600$ worth of parking tickets on my old Jetta that i didnt drive for a while, the car is in pretty bad shape and i need emisson and saftey again to re-register it, so i was gona trow it away... what happens to the 600$ of parking tickets? Can i just get rid of the plates and the tickets dissapear or I am gona have to pay for them eventually?? Is it gona effect my line of credit and so on....? PLZ HELLLLP!!!!!

You won't get a renewal sticker OR another plate until you pay up.

And yes, it can affect your credit rating.

i got a new sticker for my other car since.... what if i tell the ministy the car is gone and cancel the plates...... or can i make a deal wit em and pay for half of it or something?? cuz they where mostly all behind my building while it was sitting,,,,...?!?!

Your old plates are attached to your name which is attached to your driver license. It will come back at your next renewal.

Parking tickets are payable to the municipality. They do file credit reports on people who do not pay their tickets on time.

Maybe. Are all the tickets with one municipality? Ask them.

Are these real city parking ticket? Lots of fake ones out there, try giving them a call or go in person to see if they will negiogate... my guess is that will just provide you with a payment plan (ie: monthly tell you paid off)

i know 2 people that didnt pay parking tickets and lost their license....shitty buzz once they got paid up there license was then re activated...they dont around pay up of get a dick up da ***

600 bucks is near 2 1/2 yrs of indoor storage for me . Why didnt you just park it somewhere . Like a buddys place .Try negotiating , but with that much amount , they might be a little rigid..77.

what the hell is that gonna do for him. no police report saying it was stolen, he said the car has been sitting there which means its been a while..

What would make one think that they can just deliberately ignore such tickets, people are stupid. I can't afford it, a dangerous neighborhood etc etc. just an excuse. These people are a burdon on society.
