being stopped for speeding?

How many cars can one officer pull over at the same time?

I've seen officers tag 2, 3 or more cars over, line 'em up, then get to ticketing each one.. and it takes as long as it takes.

As many as they can until people don't stop.

Rule of thumb. 3 cars all speeding, cop pulls over 2 and the 3rd one doesn't stop. Cop chases the 3rd car and cars 1 and 2 tend to "disappear".

Same thing happened to me, Back in the day when I was cruising around in my shitbox. He signalled for me to pull over, but i dipped lol, made a right at the next lights, than a left, and onto the highway lol. I thought he was gonna come to my house, ( I beleive the radar takes a picture of your ride and speed, plate number, etc.) but they never came.

Heres a real difficult question,
Those cops that are standing around and conduct traffic when theres construction on the road.... Can they pull you over? I remember on Islington I was going around 110 km/h (speed limit being 60). (becuase I was late for school). The cop seen me, and he gave me a lol. at first I thought it was a construction worker, but when we came closer, I seen him wearing that stupid police hat, and on the reflective coat he was wearing it said POLICE lol. Do you think he has the right to stop me? Someone told me he doesnt, but he is police right?

I would assume that they can pull you over they are police officers and you are supposed to obey them even before traffic lights/signs. Seeing as he doesnt have a radar out he has no proof so he really cant do much, plus he cant chase you if you decide to keep going...

If an officer signals you to pull over, you are obligated to do so. Even if he cannot verify your speed, it is his duty to address whatever action he perceives to be unlawful or dangerous.

I'll vouch for this.

I was pulled over by an officer who was directing traffic downtown when the traffic lights were out.

interesting to note that he left the traffic control position for a solid 15 minutes to harass me about my wheels.

*shrugs*

It is the cops discretion, if he wants to pull you over for whatever reason he can, but has to give you the reason for pulling you over, he cant just cause I wanted to.

Actually, he can pull you over for any or no reason at all. HTA gives authority to pull vehicles over for documentation checks even if no other offence has been commited.
