My girlfriend works for a fairly large company , they sent her out on a job (sales rep). Now apperantly the cars brakes were messed up , upon apply brake pressure she claims the front locked up immediatley. She got onto the street and was doing 60 , she hit the brakes hard because a guy in front of her did a sudden stop the cars brakes went dim and she said the pedal went right to the floor. There was no damage on the van she rear ended but the company car needs a hood and bumper. Now when she got back the boss aknowledged the brakes were bad on the car , they sent her out anyway . She did get a call from the insrance company and told them the car was not maintained (apperantly 3 people have complained about the condition of the cars brakes and alignment). She told this to the companys insurance when they called and they said they would make a note of it. Any idea who is at fault? I dont think she is and I told her to fight them at all costs.

the company should pay for it , but if she knew the car had faulty brakes before it left the company then she should of let them know
