A little update:
Got my gf to drive me down to headquarters of Waterloo to pick up my Driving lisense and a slip to get my car out of the storage.
When I got there there was only one cop sitting and I told him that im here for my DL and the paper to grab my car.
He started going through his papers and files basicly didn't know what the hell he was looking for.
Some woman cop came by and told him that my DL is not here and that Ministry of transportation is suppose to give me a new one. All that being said I got angry because I drove all the way from Toronto area and not get my lisense back cause MTO is closed on sunday. Even though when cop was taking my car he certanly told that I have to go to Headquarters and that is where I get my DL and slip to get my car out. Can these Fawking guys get their $hit together???!!
Anyways I changed my tone with those 2 cops (man and woman) and told them that this is really unprofessional and that the whole law is a money grab(I know, but i kinda blew up cause of being so stressed out latly).
So the cop that didn't know anything changed his tone with me and says "You don't know how it feels to go to somebody's house at 3am to tell them that their love one was killed by some speed racer."
Seriosly........faaawck off with the whole street racer bullshit. Im no racer and drive somewhat fast not often at all. But this guy made it sound like he does it every week sitting behind his desk. I'm sure they do that much more often for people who have been killed by drunken idiots. I was going to tell him what I do for living but held off my temper and shut my mouth knowing that I wasn't going to win against the badge.
He finaly found my slip and these were exact words that came out of his mouth: "Get the hell out of here before you get another ticket."
Dick.

Now I had to call another friend who lives in the area to come meet me at the lot so they could issue me my car back. Waited probably 1.5 hours all together. Walked around my car and no scratches. Good.
Cost of 7 days and towing = $203.68 Not so bad.
Now I need to pay for my new lisense which is i think $10? and confirm stuff with my lawyer.
Stay tuned fellas.

Another little update:
Two days ago (Tuesday) I got my Driving Lisense back.
At first I called ministry of transportation, told them my story and where could i find the nearest office in city "P" so I could go and buy or get my new lisense.
On the phone I spoke with some skank who told me that it will cost me $150 for my new DL because it was suspended. I think she said its like a new law. I was like ""Faaawk!". All before that I thought it will only cost me $10 for a replacement.
Whatever, I needed my DL either way so i was ready to pay to those money-hungry c-o-c-ksuckers.
Got to the nearest office which was only 7min drive, don't ask how I got there.
Went in and no line up.Sweet.
Came up to woman who was probably 120 years old, shacking and not really understanding where she was she started the process.
She made some call where she said to the guy on the other end: "Tony I have one of these 7 day suspensions here."
I was so ready for her to say : "Ok, so this will be $150 please."
But guess what? She never said anything. And guess what I wasn't gonna tell her.
I needed a break from all these money spending that government makes me pay.

Total cost of new Driver's Lisense = $0

Stay tuned.

tht being said, recording the cop without his consent is illegal and chances are it wont hold up in court.

now, id fight it till i was blue in the face, your quilty but work on a reduction, now presenting the recording to the court will **** the cop off especially if hes trying to screw you in the process and your making him look bad, thats gonna make him and his buddies randomly target you and give you free roadside inspections and nail you for everything they can. ive got buddies who are cops and ive talked to them about this stuff and this is what theyd do in a situation like this. consult a lawyer and see what he says. good luck

haha yeah man, i am. if you can get away **** it and run. i may be a contributor and a mod on here but that doesnt mean im a goody goody.

look at it this way, youre driving 80 over th elimit on an open hiway, a cop pulls out of his hiding spot. you stop, your gonna get hit with up to 10g in fines, plus impound fees, plus loose your car and license for a week. go to court, waste money on a lawyer.
option 2, run, if you have a modded car or anything newer thats not entry level, theres a good chance itll outrun a cruiser, running is gonna get you thousands in fines, probably more than what option 1 is, but you have a chance of getting away. the chances of the cop catching your are slim to none if you get off the hiway and hit the back roads.

you get away you save thousands of dollars, you stop your gonna go home with thousands in fines. worst case scenario, you run and crash the car, but hey, if youre going that fast then youre chances of crashing are pretty good already.

i bet there are alot of people running the cops now that the new 50kph law has come into effect but the media just doesnt report it. probably more police pursuits then ever

Just like this guy:

TheStar.com | Crime | 'I'm sorry', says driver clocked at 250 km/h

Police were able to pull over the speeder thanks to their intercept radar initiative, in which one officer scans the driver’s speed and radios two officers about 600 metres away, who activate their emergency lights and pull on to the highway before the vehicle approaches them

at 250 kmph you are going about 70m every second. So give or take a bit you are going to reach the other cops in 10 sec, most cars take 5-6sec to reach 100 kmph in a straight controlled test. If the cops are on gravel off the highwa and need to turn onto the highway i would assume that would add 2 seconds... so the cops are only going 120 kmph in those 10 seconds. Your going twice as fast as that as you fly by, stil not hard to run.

Are none of you concerned with possibly killing someone else in your attempt to run from cops? Also they have choppers now and your not going to out run them....

OK good use of math but you forgot one thing. The radar is picking you up from at least 1km away. They are definitely going to see you coming. That means MINIMUM 14 seconds warning before you even get to the first cop plus another 10 seconds to the second cop. Half a minute to put your donut down and put the cruiser in drive? Pretty easy.

yes but you dont own it so too bad for you my friend

you guys forget another thing. if im travelling at 100 kph and pass a cop thats not moving, he first has to accelerate to 100 kph, then he has to make up the ground i put on him in the time that it took him to reach that speed. thats a huge factor there if your going real fast.

that kid who stopped while doing 250 is just fuken stupid. hes gonna get what he deserves for stopping.

choppers take a while to dispatch and chances of one being in your area are slim.

also im not at all saying to run while on a busy hiway, hell i dont even play the weaving game any more, too old for that, but if its an open empty stretch ill open her up from time to time and the only person im gonna hurt is myself.
