I had a front license plate go missing so I got new plates but didn't have time to mount the front plate properly so I placed it in the passenger corner of the dashboard. I got pulled over and the cop gave me a ticket for failing to display both plates. Now I have a court date.
Would anyone know if this charge will actually stick?

Yeah it'll stick. Unless you come up with some sort of excuse. Plate holder broken, etc. Even then, you'll probably end up paying.

bro i got the same freakin ticket.. put it to court still havent gotten my date and also its a non movin violation so it will not affect ur insurance. go to court n tell them it fell off n u put it there temporary or sum

I set a court date for mine, waited.. got 2 more tickets for not having ownership and being too loud, wentto fight those 2, asked when my court date is for plate one, she says tomorrow at 9am, i say no one told me, she said ticket is gone dont worry about it, and it did disapear... pretty sweet deal.. lets hope my 5 next month will do that too..
