lil ticket
K so i just got pulled over, i was going 70 in a 50...but the cop reduced it to 15 over... so its a $53 fine, no points. How much should this effect my insurance? the cop said it wouldnt effect it very much because its not points and its looked at as a "slowing down warning". is this true? or should i expect to get *** raped by insurance now?

Every ticket you get counts against you, and your insurance co. will hear about it. It doesn't matter whether points are attached to the offence or not.
It is always to your advantage to fight every ticket you get, regardless of how small.

Yes, its true that your insurance company will find out about all convictions. But the good news is it might not matter. One insurance company may decide to raise your premiums over this when another won't. Your previous convictions and claims history will be the primary factor in their decision. But here is a link that might be helpful; http://www.insurancehotline.com/convictionlist.html
What this website dosnt indicate is that some companies will consider a minor convcition as major if the driver only held a G1 or G2. (there is website out there somewhere that does indicate that, but I guess I didnt save the link)

Take your tickets to x-coppers those guys are really good, and if u pay them off well they will even cancel the ticket for you, were talking about 2g's for a minor speeding ticket.

If you did pay them 2g's excoppers probably realized that the ticket had a "fatal error" and led you to believe they would have it erased later. In reality, they were fully aware that there would be no conviction registered in the first place!

My buddy paid $5000 for drinking and driving this saved him in the 10's of thousands with no records anywhere.
Hmmmmm. Lets think about this for a second. We have moved from an infraction of the Highway Traffic Act to criminal charges, and ex-copper had them cancelled too? First of all, ex-copper can not represent you in criminal court because they are not lawyers and therefore not licenced to practice law. But perhaps your going to tell us that ex-copper was only contacted for the purpose of cancelling this charge. Yes, that must be it.
Okay, the ex-copper must have connections within the police department so that their computer database could be hacked and all files relating to this party are erased, the officer's notebook stolen, the police station searched top to bottom for any other relevant documents. (this must be done or else the police will just re-charge your buddy). The ex-copper also has a contact in the Ministry of Transportation so that the ADLS drivers licence suspension that was initiated by the officer immeadiately after the offence can be cancelled. Then the ex-copper calls up his contact in the Crown Attorney's office to have their database hacked, any emails from the investigating officer erased, and their office searched top to bottom to destroy all hardcopies of the crown brief. Then the ex-copper calls up his contact with .....
See where I'm going with this?
Anybody else smell B.S. on this one??

And I smell a hater, I am sharing my experience if I was a kid like you then I could understand coming on here and writing rubish, and wasting band width. Keep your useless opinion to yourself and let prospects learn from this. Perhaps you too, and not being so biased about it

You smell a hater? A hater of what? B.S. maybe? Then I'm guilty as charged. As far as being a young kid, thank you for the compliment on my age, its been a long time since anyone has been as gracious as you.
Actually, where in my reply does it say that your buddy had a ticket cancelled? You said your buddy paid 5g's and now there is no records of this offence. I simply offered an explanation of how all these records could be made to disappear.

Paralegals etc can represent you at a criminal trial, provided the trial is proceeding summarily and not by indictment.
