If you guys are driving something custom and your current insurance company wants nothing to do with you (not because your 16 and already have 10 traffic violations). Then check these guys out.

They were suggested to us by one of my customers.
From what I know, you can have the car on their insurance, but it cannot be your primary car, it must be an occasional driver

I was excited that someone might actually insure my modded car til i read:

- Plan is available for Modified, Street Rod & Custom vehicles used for hobby and/or collector car activities, and not used for regular transportation

and it doesn't help anyone under 26

- 10 Years continuous driving experience required

Ah well the search continues
I pay $160 a month for full coverage on my 97 Si without telling them about my mods, they wanted $300 a month because i lived with a highschool buddy of mine and because he had his licence i had to insure him incase he ever took my car how :supergay: is that? so i found a broker who didn't ask about who i lived with and my insurance started at 220 but dropped to 160 after a year.

I totally agree..it doesnt matter if you work for insurance company they judge the driver by its record and location of residence...how many cars that are insured and if there is any other policies (home, boat ,etc) that the customer has.its complete BS that he knows someone that can HOOK him up with cheap insurance...its all goes thru the same clearing house of inspectors and all insurance companies systems are interlinked. If you have a clean record and over 25 then you might find better rates, but anything less that $120 a month for a newer import is only reachable if your under someone else policy and your listed as a occassional driver. So many scams out there where people know where to get dirt cheap insurance BUT you must pay a "admistration charge"..so many suckers out there its not funny.
