Wow, just wow... I got sooooooo lucky tonight, i still cant believe it.
Basically i was cruising around in my Supra with the top off and i turn onto this small residential street. I just installed a few things on my car and i wanted to check the A/F's at redline. So right after i turned, i floor it and take it to redline and shift into second. As i shift, i fly past this old Chevy Astro van parked on the side of street. He starts up and starts to catch up to me fast. When he caught up, i see him pulling into the opposite direction lane as if he wants to pass me.
So i figured that it was some guy wanting to bitch at me for the noise (the car is VERY loud at redline) so i give it more gas to pull away from him. Im now doing about 80km/h (in a 40kmh zone). Then i get to the stop sign and roll through it (without stopping completely), and the Astro pulls into the opposite lane again and i see a cop sticking out of the window yelling "POLICE, PULL OVER".
At this point im thinking "IM ****ED"
So i pull over, he walks over and asks "Why were you going at mach 3 over there" ? I told him that i accidently went into 1st gear instead of 3rd, so thats why it revved very high and was so loud. He nods in disbelief and asks me for drivers licence, insurance and ownership. I give him my licence (A-Z class) and start looking for insurance/ownership. He looks at my licence and asks me what i do for a living, i tell him that i drive a truck (which i dont right now).
Then he checked out the other papers and said "Since you're a commercial driver, i dont want to mess up your record, so im just gonna give you a 10kmh over which they'll drop if you go to court" I didnt even believe it untill he actually handed me the ticket. I thanked him and drove away.
Now let me just list the things that he could nail me for if he wanted to:
- 80kmh+ speeding in a 40 zone
- careless driving
- noise
- not stopping at a stop sign
Illegal mods:
- "improper muffler", no cats (straight pipe exhaust), no egr, improper pcv, opened nitrous bottle, big turbo, and more.
And all i got is a 10over charge that will get dropped in court

u lucky sob..wish i get those kinda cops...he coudlt charge u for speeding though b/c he wasn't gunnin* you...but still he still could of ripped u for alot other like u said ...consider that a blessing:thumbsup:

oh, and 180 in a 100... let off without too much hassle.. and i even lit up the tires leaving in front of the cop.. and took it back up to 180 fo the next few minutes.. right in front of him

You might think you sound cool, but you don't.
So you showered the cop with rocks after he let you off a court summons huh? Even if it were true, it would just prove how much of an idiot you are.

obviously that was an embellishment to add to the "story". the fact is that as he was walking back to his car... and to keep my reason for the speeding appear true.. i lit up the tires and bounced off the (thank you gm) 108mph speed limiter for the next 8 or so km.
no bs though... i had 2 seriously lucky situations where i should have been charged with careless, and i sure hope i dont sound "cool", there are too may stupid kids on here that might think its easy to get off....
