Radar trap...130km..no ticket

so i was headin to barrie today cruzin at 130 and right by the 400 market i see the car ahead of me hit their brakes... had a feeling there was a cop, i looked to the on ramp and there was a cop sittin rite there...dropped my speed no brakes to not attract attention...... he didnt budge one bit.... i thought for sure i was busted....when i passed him i was still doin 130 easily.
yet another cop sleeping on the job... if he was payin attention there is no way he wouldnt have seen me goin that fast.
do they even pull you over for 130 anymore?

i have a feeling that sometimes the cops are looking for people going really fast. Also if you are driving 130 and not driving like an idiot weaving etc. I feel that depending on the officer they may leave you alone.

Cops are not robots! They have individual tolerance levels for speeds, and they focus on different violations at different times. Sometimes, their only focus will be getting "impoundables" (50 over). Sometimes they may just sit there to slow traffic down, without even running radar. With the new racing laws in place, it wouldn't surprise me if a few cops don't feel 30 over is "interesting" enough any more.

I seem to get the cops that r in good moods, i was doin 135 just before fairview on the qew and i got pinched, i told him i was sorry i was just late for work and i could lose my job, and for some odd reason he said just get out of here. I also got stopped doin 82 in a 50, he dropped it to 15 over. It would have been nice to get out of that one but it was in town so he was pretty determined to give me a ticket.

It also could have been that the other vehicle in front of you was blocking his tracking device. Most of the lasers or radars they use have to reflect off of something to get a reading. if they don't hit something on your car that reflects back to them they can't get a good reading.
