Solution ?!?!

Ok, so a friend of mine took his dad's business vehicle out for a spin when his parents weren't home. He has no license (lazy). He hit a lady from behind and panicked and drove off. Obviously the lady wrote down his license plate and called the cops. The cops showed up at his house and gave him two tickets. One for hit and run and one for not showing ID (which he didn't have since license counts as a valid ID and he doesn't have a license). The tickets are on his name but he doesn't have a license. How does one go around with handling these? They have already paid the lady for her damages and have a letter as receipt for the payment.

Thanks

Wow. An idiot. Why would he take off? As much as he was scared he likely made more trouble for himself. If he ever gets a license it will be on the system and his rates will surely lay the rape on him.

Does he have to appear in court?

Re: Solution ?!?!

No. His dad paid for the damage so the lady dropped the charges and he the ticket he got for driving was taken care of.
